Every brand has its own story, its own rhythm and its own starting point. Because of that, our process is never one size fits all. It flexes to meet you where you are, while always providing structure and direction.

We often begin with an in-depth brand strategy workshop, as they uncover the purpose, audience, positioning & personality of your brand. That said, we understand that not every brand needs this level of depth at the very start of their journey.

At the very least, every project begins with a thoughtful briefing call. This gives us the space to understand who you’re here to serve, where you sit in the market and how you want your brand to feel as it moves forward.

The way we build inspiring brands

01
Discovery

After you’ve decided we’re the partner to bring your vision to life & sent an enquiry through. We will get back to you within 72 hours to book a chat if the project is a good fit for us. This is not an in-depth interview, just a friendly chit chat for us to get to know more about you, your brand and your goals.

If we decide we’re a good fit, we’ll send you a project proposal outlining your goals, pain points, timeline, scope of work and more. If you move forward with the project - fantastic! - We’ll then send you the first 50% deposit & a contract to lock in the project, followed by a briefing questionnaire for you to fill out before our first call.

Laying the foundations

The most important part of our process — this is where we all get aligned. We know every brand is different; therefore, each brand requires a slightly different approach. However, by figuring out why your brand really exists, who it exists for and where it’s going, we can create a truly unique brand identity rooted in strategy.

Using all the information we gather here, we’ll go away and create a few moodboards for you to choose from. This is so we’re all on the same page visually right from the start. Once a moodboard is selected, we’ll go into creative, our favourite part.

Creation

This is where we’ll spend most of our time, rightfully so. Exploring every possible angle for your brand: logos, type, colour & composition. We will present to you two brand identity concepts, two slightly different from one another, and you’ll be able to see how both of them work, including real-world mockups of the brand in action. There’s always more than one way to do something; that’s why we like to give you two options to choose from.

The concepts we present to you will be 70% complete, so you get a good sense of how your brand will look and feel. Once one is chosen, we will go away to refine and perfect it.

*as a note here, we’ll never present a concept if we don’t fully believe in it. If your struggling to choose a direction, we won’t be biased, but we can always help you figure out the direction which will be best for your brand*

Refine & Perfect

Once you’ve decided on a Direction, we will then spend some time exploring this identity further and how we can turn it into a consistent structured full brand system — Taking it from 70% to 100%!  We will then go away and create any additional deliverables within scope, e.g., templates, print materials, clothing files.  

At this stage, we will send over the remaining 50% invoice.

Brand Guidelines

Here we will package up all your files and create your new Brand Guidelines document.

The document will include rules for Logo Usage, type, colour, composition, and pretty much everything else to ensure the brand stays consistent.

Handover & Support

And finally, we’ll do a final handover to walk you through the guidelines, answer any questions, and make sure you feel comfortable using your new brand.

Our absolute biggest value throughout this whole process is to remain as ongoing support for you. Whenever you have any queries or need some extra support, we are always available to help.
