Natively Ornate is on a mission to create platform optimised videos and graphics that perform exceptionally and inspire creativity to their clients, whilst alos providing tools and education that empower other creators to bring their ideas to life.
Chris from Natively Ornate came to Highful Minds needing a full Visual Identity that could cater to two audiences. We went through an extensive research and style direction phase to really nail the feel and look of the brand.
The Logo
The overall composition of the logomark represents a keyframe with a video editing timeline within it. The three rows represent the three core people within the brand. Natively Ornate themselves, their B2B Clients and their creative audience.
The logotype features two styles of typeface. Natively evoking a feeling of being cutting edge. Whilst Ornate we created this modern mono serif wordmark which reflects the ornate attention to detail within their work.
Typography & Colours
For the Colour Palette, we chose this beautiful digital modern colour palette. This shade of black we've named Cinematic Void reflects the immersive atmosphere of film. The white is clean and crisp. It balances the dark "Cinematic Void" by providing clarity and space, much like negative space in design and editing. It also reflects simplicity and precision.
We chose two vibrant shades of purple and green as secondary highlight colours. Purple often symbolizes creativity and innovation, and this bright tone feels modern and distinctive. The empowering green feels fresh, energetic, and tech savvy. It brings a pop of color and life, aligning with cutting edge video effects.
Brand Icons
We created these monoline digital illustration icons for Natively Ornate, they're all elements of video editing. They've been designed with animation in mind.
